My Thoughts

I wanted to start a new year with a compelling read by an accomplished author, and Both Of You was exactly that!.

I’m not going to say much about the plot because this story is far too easy to spoil, so here are a few thoughts on the writing style.

Like all Adele Parks books this was incredibly well written and intricately thought out. Questions were answered before my brain even contemplated them and the characters and locations were vividly portrayed. I had a few suspicions about the conclusion but it still left me unable to put this dramatic thriller down.

The book is written from multiple points of view but flowed with ease. It is set in March 2020 so references to the global pandemic are included. This is not overdone and adds an eeriness to the storyline, with empty streets and buildings a sadly authentic fact.

A clever, gripping drama, highly recommended.

Thank you to the publisher via NetGalley for a copy of the book, which I have reviewed honestly.
